CREATIVE EMERGENCIES?

I’ve got the cure.

During medical school, content creation became a part of my daily life—it was a fun way to unwind after long hours at the hospital.

Over time, I began incorporating motion graphics, visual effects, and augmented reality to craft stories and create interactive experiences across different mediums.

I used to think that arts and creativity were just hobbies—until I picked up my first camera in 2010 and fell into the world of multimedia. What started as a personal passion soon led to photography awards and a growing online community, opening the door for me to create content for brands and public figures in my home country, Venezuela.

During that time, Hersheyshore emerged as my alias after my self-portrait Chocoholic went viral on Facebook and Twitter. What started as a social media phenomenon quickly evolved into a brand with a multi-platform presence, spanning Snapchat, Vine, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Every day, I shared my experiences as both an aspiring physician and an artist—two contrasting worlds that resonated with my audience.

As my creative journey gained momentum, I found myself balancing medical duties with collaborations for fashion brands, restaurants, and nightlife producers. When I wasn’t at the hospital, Hersheyshore took over, allowing me to build a diverse body of work across film, photography, motion media, and augmented reality. These interdisciplinary opportunities fueled my passion for the arts, and I knew I wanted to pursue them full-time.

So after earning my medical degree in 2020, I decided to shift my focus and study Visual Effects at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My curiosity for innovation and technology has since led me to projects like SCADpro’s second collaboration with NASA and SCAD’s first annual AI Summit.

Some people call me Eliezer, others know me as Hersheyshore, but at the core of everything I do, there’s one belief I stand by:

Creativity is part of our human nature.
